Čokolino, one of the evergreen products in Podravka portfolio. A well-known brand also known as the favourite meal of both young and old, has decided to redesign its look after almost 20 years.

We were given the opportunity to collaborate with Čokolino on improving the existing, famous Čokolino and Lješnjak Čokolino designs. The task was to develop them in a new and more contemporary way through an authentic design, which would be familiar and accessible to the consumer.

The technique chosen for this redesign was the papercutting technique – a technique of crafting, cutting, and glueing paper by hand. Papercutting is a relatively new technique, and so far, it hasn’t been used very often in packaging design. Once the paper models were created, the arranged scene was photographed.
